(June 10, 2023, 7:30 am)This was my first time coming to Bobby Q’s. I’ve been missing soul food in the area since Benny passed away. Bennys food was amazing and very flavorful and it’s hard to find that kind of taste anywhere. Bobby’s was delicious. The wait time was minimal. I would’ve sat down to eat but there was no AC on blowing strong enough and I didn’t want to eat my soul food in a hot place.
The fish was delicious and freshly prepared. My Mac and cheese melted in my mouth and the collards were tasty. I would go back. However I felt that the portions were very small for the price you pay for it. The fish was tasty and it was also smaller pieces. The sides can definitely be more packed on the plate than it was for the price. But the people were friendly gracious and kind and I would return. However I know my family would want to see more on the plate if I was to do larger orders.
