Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Although understaffed as most of these facilities are most of the staff was very caring and accommodating. I was apprehensive at first and my mom was miserable with the situation because she had broken her hip, but the PT was wonderful and as she improved she knew most of her caregivers and they knew he’d and what she needed. She participated in activities and the routine was very good for her. The food was too bland for her so we brought in a lot but overall her experience was good she is home and independent. I am grateful to everyone there that went above and beyond

Not only is Carillon currently taking good care of my Aunt, but they even remember my past family members who were patients there. A nurse recently asked if one of my visiting Aunts was related to my mother who passed away. She used my mother’s name. What’s amazing is my mother died 13 years ago, and she was remembered by name and the family resemblance and past visitors recognized! This is why we revere Carillon.

Immediately upon arriving to visit a relative in their care, first impressions were great. Facility had organization, dedicated staff, seriousness about cleanliness, and I particularly liked the “you shouldn’t be visiting if your sick and can spread germs” type of sign I recall seeing in the reception area, along with the request to sanitize my hands after checking in, and before proceeding on to visit. Wished my own mother would have chosen this Carillon care center, over the disappointment that was the nursing and rehab center she used (not a Carillon).
My Aunt, the relative I was there visiting, also praised all aspects of her stay and care the same way. It’s comforting to know a loved one is in good care in these situations. It’s not always easy. Then there’s the food, she said it was “good”, she knows not everyone can cook like she can:-)
