Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County

SSDD is a special place. It’s so refreshing to find a school and a community that promotes and fosters top education, being a good person and how to treat others without judgement. Loving Israel, loving Judaism and loving one another is how my children act every day and I am so happy with my choice to send here.

We have 3 children in Solomon Schechter ranging from 1st grade to middle school and we couldn't be happier with our decision to invest in our children by sending them to this school. Most importantly they are happy, but we also see how they are flourishing academically, socially and Jewishly and we couldn't be prouder of them and of how the school is nurturing them to be well rounded people and part of a larger community. We have had only wonderful experiences with the faculty and administration and I can't recommend this school highly enough.

We are in our 5th year at Schechter and absolutely love it. We have three children in the school and have had great experiences in both early childhood and the lower school. I feel that the school is very professional and well run and that there is a great balance of Jewish and secular education as well as an emphasis on social development and well-being.

My children started attending Solomon Schechter of Bergen County 6 years ago. Over that time period we have been very impressed by the teachers and the warm environment.
I love walking through the halls of the school. My kids are smiling and happy to be in school.

We have been a part of the Ssds community for 6 years now , and couldn’t be happier! Our children love their school and are thriving in their studies. Dual education is very important to our family , and we feel that Ssds is a perfect fit for us . We are so grateful to the faculty and staff who take great care to teach and nurture our children . Our hearts are full .
