(June 11, 2023, 10:54 pm)I have been going to the Dermatologist Specialist for a few years now and was thrilled when they opened the Rockaway Park office in 2022. Of course i had to make an appointment on opening day and checked them out. I left them a few times to go to other dermatologist because of insurance issues or locations, but I always run back to them. They offer convenient hours that fits the average working person's schedule. Their hours include evenings and weekends, and they take walk-ins. The staff are friendly, professional, and courteous. The office is clean and welcoming, and has a fridge full of cold water bottles and seltzers. The cold drinks comes in handy if you have an appointment (or walk-in) after a day at the beach....which is feet away from the office.
I have been seeing Dr. Papa at the Rockaway Park location and she is great! She takes the time to listen to me and explores different options and treatments for me.
The only thing that might be a problem with this location is parking. I was told they have some spot on the lot across the street, but I can't remember the numbers. Otherwise, you're stuck looking for metered street parking. This can be a struggle if you go on a busy beach day. So, during the summer months, make your appointments early in the morning before the beach crowd starts rolling in. -

(May 18, 2023, 7:55 pm)I went in today for my scheduled appointment and upon my arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and the office was clean, not to mention the wait time was extremely quick. The Dermatologist along with the medical assistant were both very professional and informative and as expected my prescription was sent in to the pharmacy almost immediately and was ready for pick up on my way home. I highly recommended this practice.

(April 18, 2023, 1:22 pm)Such a wonderful place. Everyone we saw was friendly and caring. The place is clean and welcoming, cool things to look at while waiting, ice cold water and seltzer were offered. The receptionist was so nice. Highly recommend this place. Will be going back for myself as well as my sons. They treated my daughter amazing and took her concerns seriously and helped understand her issues much better. Thank you !

(April 9, 2023, 8:23 pm)The nurses and the doctor were amazing! I was going 15 mnts late and they still receive me and my son for his appointment. 💕🙌🏻 also super clean area, the office is very beautiful. Woulda love to go again! For me 5 stars. ☺️
