The Wooden Shoe Nursery School

They’re absolutely great here. Very personable and know all the kids by name. My daughter enjoyed every single day. And I loved seeing all the arts & crafts and activities they did.

My daughter and son both attended Wooden Shoe and we love it! The personalized attention we receive from the staff and teachers is amazing. They literally treat us like family and even though my son is now in elementary school, they still ask how he is doing. Also, the class to teacher ratio has been great with no more than 3 students per teacher. And when I had my youngest daughter, they sent me flowers and arts &crafts from my oldest daughter’s class! Lastly, they include academics, arts & crafts, and books into the daily curriculum… which we all (my husband, kids and I) love!!

I had the pleasure of sending my son to the Wooden Shoe and I must say that I was very impressed with the level of care and education that my son was receiving. I would highly recommend the Wooden Shoe to any parent looking for a caring, and nurturing environment.

The Wooden Shoe Nursery School has exceeded my expectations. My boy/girl twins have been attending since last year and I have no complaints. The teachers are friendly and my kids absolutely love going to school. If you’re looking for a great nursery school in Valley Stream, Wooden Shoe is the best option!!

This review is solely based off of my tour with Miss Theresa. She was incredibly kind and welcoming . During my tour , I could tell that her and the teachers really care for the kids. Everyone was so nice and personable. I recommended this school to a friend and she will be going on a tour this week! Unfortunately I will be sending my daughter to a different school based on her personal needs .
I am currently pregnant and look forward to sending baby #2 to the wooden shoe!
