Recently 4 of us, mainly novice skiers booked two 2 hour lessons - we met our instructor, Marion, who was great. She gave clear instructions, was enthusiastic about passing on her knowledge and had time for each of us - she definitely gave us the help we needed and always with a smile. I felt I needed a bit more help so went whilst in resort to book another private 1 hour lesson, again with Marion, she really gave me the extra bit of confidence I needed - thanks so much.
Vilma taught me 19 years ago and my partner last week. She is a great instructor and we would recommend.
Our family has just come back from a weeks skiing in Isola 2000. It was our first time skiing so we didn’t know what to expect. Before we left for our holiday we booked our two children (aged 7&8) into the Falcon level with esf for 6 mornings. When we arrived we went to the esf office (which is easy to find) and they told us where to meet.The ski instructor, Jean-Luc, was amazing with them. They are both fairly nervous children but he had a great manner with them, looked after them both and helped them become confident skiers. They loved the lessons and we couldn’t have asked of a better instructor to look after our children.My husband and I also booked 5 beginners group lessons which were at the same time as our children’s lessons. Talissia, the instructor was great. After one group lesson, I felt individual lessons would suit me better and I was able to swap to individual private lessons (without any fuss or problem) Talissa was very patient with me and despite not being very confident I did make progress in my lessons. My husband stayed in the group lessons and really enjoyed them. The set up of esf was excellent - both instructors and people in the office spoke good English. They were very helpful and I would definitely recommend going with esf. Thank you for making our week so special.
Total repeat of Jack F's review. My daughter started her week of Premiere Etoile training with guys as her profs and was progressing quickly with her technique for 3 days.The last two days we had a female prof of significant age who put it straight that there was no chance for the star after 3 minutes standing next to us. The experienced lady managed to kill motivation and interest of my daughter within the first day.After missing the star and the end of the group course, we took a private lesson with one of the guy profs, named Alexandre who luckily managed to rebuild my daughter's confidence and interest in skiing. His comment - "your daughter meets the requirements for the Premiere Etoile".On the other hand, Piou-Piou team is fantastic. Last year my daughter learned skiing from 0 to the Flaucon level in just 5 days.
The slopes are good maintaind but the ski lifts are out dated and skieing is oke but i did 90% of all the slopes in one morning .. other than that there is nothing in the village exept a few pubs where u can pay uo for.9,- for a beer .. ore a supermarkt hamburger for 19,- its outrages especialy for the location its at
