(December 16, 2020, 4:43 pm)I went to grammar school here, graduated in '96, lol. As an adult, I went to weekday service today. It was my first time there in probably 20+ years...and it was enriching. Nostalgia factor aside, the church looks and smells like a practical place of worship, in tune with the family town on Emerson. The church is not huge, not full of ornate statues, designs, etc
It has a light frankincense smell, humble yet Holy and celebratory look and feel.
Very happy to see the church that laid the groundwork of my Faith is still beautiful and humble! :-) -

(January 21, 2019, 8:31 pm)I love being a part of the Assumption Parish family. Every person who you might encounter is at all times pleasant and helpful in whatever way they possibly could be.
Every person from the Pastors throughout the people of the Parish make you feel at home. Like this is where you belong. Which nowadays is not as easy as one would pray for.
Church of the Assumption is most definitely a place to come to.
