Awani Hair Braiding

Got my hair braided here last week and my stylist did an amazing job. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered!!

Great service, great vibes, and very neat work. This establishment is ran on a first come, serve basis so come early if you’d like prompt service. The owner is super personable and welcoming, and I was able to Fulani braids done in under 8 hours which is always a plus. The workspace is pretty intimate so it will be ideal to withhold bringing a plus one unless they’re being serviced as well. The prices varies on the intricacies of the style that you desire but I’d say it’s still pretty affordable as well.

She is the best!!! She’s quick and professional at all times!!. I live all the way in Connecticut but will always drive to only her to have my hair braided… She’s been braiding my hair for a few years now and never misses a beat!!! ❤️❤️… You will not be disappointed 😊..

I have been coming for years to have my hair braided at this establishment and never once had I ever had an issue or problem. I don’t like going anywhere else! Her braids are nice/ neat and I have many comments stating they are beautiful! You will not be disappointed in getting your hair done here. I’m normally at her front door at 7am waiting for it to open and I travel from Flatbush.. ok! It gets busy rather quickly that’s how much she does a great job…go to her Instagram page to see the evidence ladies and gents on a job well done! I will continue to attend for as long as I’m in NY. People come from far to get their hair braided here (Queens/LI to same a few, I know I’ve spoken to them while I waited for her to open), so what else can I say…come see for yourself!
