My bagelcoaster quest has taken me from mediocre to stale bodega bad. On a whim, I ordered from Bagels and More in Bergenfield. They delivered, literally and with the quality of their bagels. I order two bagels for research purposes. The sesame with scallion cream cheese was the perfect texture . Soft on the inside and had the coveted bagel "shell" on the outside. My second choice was an everything bagel with butter. The perfect amount of everything seasoning was added, giving the bagel flavor without making a mess. For a drink, I got an iced coffee. Through Tristate deli magic, it tasted exactly the same as every other bagel shops iced coffee. Comforting and tasty. Not sure why they all taste the same. Do I really want to know? That is a quest for another time. Try Bagels and More in Bergenfield, you will not be disappointed.
