Michael was extremely compassionate and kind to my family when my husband passed. We had no idea what to do when we first came in, but he guided us step-by-step through the entire process, explained each option with clear estimates of pricing, and was extremely understanding and patient while we made our difficult decisions. Even when he had personal affairs, Michael would take time out of his schedule to help us and respond as soon as possible to any question or request we had. The staff that work under him are just as compassionate and responsive as he is. I sincerely recommend going to Boulevard for their services as they treat your loved ones with the utmost respect and care.

This is an embarrassingly overdue review for an amazing organization. I started planning my father’s funeral in what ended up being 14 months in advance. He was elderly and ill, so his eventually passing was not going to be really surprising. (Side note: I HIGHLY recommend prior planning in inevitable situations like this, so you are not making decisions with literally a dead person in your house.) I was going to need someone who could handle getting my father’s body from the west coast to New Jersey to be buried with my mother. Michael worked with me in California, and my family in New Jersey every step of the way. The inevitable happened in the middle of COVID, and Michael and his team rose to the occasion and took amazing care of my family. From start to finish, Michael and his team of professionals made me feel like Boulevard was the best decision in made in this situation. (Did I mention planning before your loved one passes makes all the difference in the world?) Michael arranged transport of my father across the country and we had a lovely wake in his beautiful facility. I could go on forever about how easy their team made this. It may have taken awhile to write this, however, I will never forget how Michael and his team at Boulevard, and their care and compassion in a very trying time. Thank you.

3 weeks ago, my father passed away suddenly. The day following my father’s passing, Michael arranged for my father to be transported from Florida to New Jersey for the services. During that time, he met with my mother and went through the meticulous details of every aspect of the future steps we should be taking. There discussion included not only the preparation for my father’s wake and funeral, but also Michael coordinated with the US Army so my father would be honored for his service at the funeral and assured us that my father’s name would be engraved on a plaque within the funeral home honoring deceased veterans.
During the emotional days that followed for the wake and funeral, Michael and staff were always readily available to promptly answer our many questions and concerns, and to provide a calm steady presence for us. I cannot praise them highly enough for how pleasant and understanding they have been with us through it all.
It is very clear that the staff of Boulevard Funeral Home and Michael, do not consider their job to be done once the funeral is complete, and that they truly care about the family and loved ones who are left behind. I therefore would highly recommend Boulevard Funeral Home, for going above and beyond in their assistance to my family through this most difficult of time.
