Brookdale Emerson

My mom was a resident of Brookdale Emerson for 5 years….I could not have made a better choice as the staff was incredibly caring, attentive, personable and went out of their way to help! If you’re looking for a place for your loved one…Brookdale Emerson is the choice you should make…you won’t be disappointed!! The entire staff cares about the residents and it is quite obvious! I would be remiss if I didn’t highlight the care that my mom received from Carol Habler, activities director! Carol was my eyes and ears during the Covid lockdown…allowing me to rest easily at night knowing that my mom was well cared for and safe!!

So happy to have found such a wonderful caring facility. After my sister had passed I needed a place to care for my brother in law. After much research, Brookdale was the best choice. I don't have to worry anymore because I know that he is receiving the best care possible. He is in the Clare Bridge memory care unit. The staff is absolutely fantastic. The level of care he is getting there is all I can ask for. Kathleen Castagno is so involved in the love and the care of her patients. She makes them feel like a member of her own family. The facility is clean and there is an abundance of food. They provide entertainment and activities for their patients and attend to their individual needs. They are given their medication as needed, and have their own doctors on staff. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, and wish for a peaceful transition, then this is the place for you. I highly recommend Brookdale Emerson for your loved one.

My brother has been a resident of the memory care facility of 3 Brookdale facilities thus far. Emerson is by far the most outstanding. I can't say enough good things about the caring, loving, personal, warm and cleanly atmosphere that greets you as the doors open. You know that your loved one has reached their second home upon entering.
The genuineness of the staff from the Executive Director Alnica Moore to the directors such as Kathlene Castagno to the activities director, Carol Habler, etc., everyone truly is invested in the residents. It's heartwarming to see.
I find it heartwarming that the residents are not only treated with dignity and love but they are encouraged to be the best and most positively active they can be.
Thank goodness we live close enough for Clare Bridge at Brookdale Emerson to be a viable option in which my loving brother Steven can reside.

In response to the previous review. This is Olga not "Ulga." As I can see the person who wrote the review cannot even spell, so I assume that it is an employee that I have terminated due to their lack of skills. In addition, I have not been with Brookdale of Emerson since 4/24/2019 which makes it longer than your post of 3 weeks. Brookdale of Emerson provides great care to their residents. They provide excellent services to their families. So in response to the nasty review, this is simply not fair to Brookdale of Emerson to slander them that way, because you did not get your way! Just a suggestion if you have a problem with one person DO NOT slander a whole community that does nothing but go above and beyond with their care!
