(May 26, 2021, 2:07 pm)I grew up in sea cliff and never really went to Arata’s deli. A few months ago I really wanted a BLT and my husband wanted a roast beef sandwich. I walked there and was so pleasantly surprised. Amazing sandwiches. The Jon’s Choice hero is absolutely delicious! The owner is the kindest nicest person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I now go there at least once a week. We are so lucky to have such a great family owned establishment in our community. The prices are comparable to other deli’s in the area. This IS sea cliff. If you can afford to pay the exorbitant taxes you can afford a $7 BLT, especially when they put a TON of bacon on it.

(November 23, 2020, 6:39 pm)I needed a coffee and so I stopped by pretty late, they were winding down and closing up but the owner still didn’t mind taking my order, I only had Apple Pay as a method of payment and though his store did not except it he still insisted on making and giving me my coffee. It was a very nice thing of him to do and I’m grateful as I had a long drive ahead of me.

(April 17, 2019, 3:53 pm)They have upped their menu. Great breakfast items and delicious muffins. I love walking here with my grand children and having breskfast. Of course, they are a deli so delicious sandwiches are available as well.
