Dr Lax is hands-down the best doctor I've ever had. He's also the only doctor I had stayed with for 15+years. He has a lot of experience and is very very good. My mom goes to him too, and it took him one look to detect her early sign of cataract. He's honest, straight forward, and puts his patients first. He's not salesy, which is why I trust him wholeheartedly. He runs the place like a highly trusted family practice rather than a store (this is basically impossible to find in nyc - where I live).
Dr Lax is also the nicest human being ever. I recently did lasik with a surgeon he recommended. I found out afterward that he brought pastries to the lasik office on my day of surgery, so they'd take extra care of me. !!!! this is like above and beyond. It's tough to find doctors like Dr Lax nowadays, his practice is a rare gem.

I have been seeing Dr Lax for the past 40 years. I have extreme myopia, and Dr Lax has helped me through all the stages of my eyesight with kindness and understanding. He is honest and straightforward and always puts his patients first. Their prices are fair, the staff is friendly and competent, and the hours and location are convenient and easy to get to.

They have the best customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I recently ran out of contacts , but I wasn’t due for new ones until June so they sent me a 2 month supply (monthly use) in Less than 24 hours. Complementary AND Express shipping. Especially in this pandemic, I’m very pleased. Thanks again!

They're great. Helped me fix broken glasses, sending out for repair, instead of just trying to sell me new glasses. When buying new ones recently they were very helpful and didn't feel pressured like typical sales people. Only wish they had slightly bigger selection of frames.
