4/26/19: Came in for a root canal. From what I've heard, root canals are supposed to be painful.
Dr. Choe performed the procedure painlessly. I was sore for a day afterwards, as was explained by Dr. Choe. Pain was tolerable, and gone by the next day.
Dr. Choe has great skills and ever so patient.
Again, great staff as well. Super friendly and professional.

I pulled out my wisdom tooth. the treatment was very gentle and quick. also staff and Dr. Choe were so kind. I was scared before, but I felt very comfortable still getting treatment.

My co-worker referred me to Doctor Choe and I finally got my teeth checked out. I hate going to the dentist but i hadnt seen one for almost 3 yrs so i couldnt push it back anymore.
The staffs were all so kind, i was a bit late to my appointment but still was seen without any waiting time. The assistant that took care of me was so sweet! She made sure I wasnt feeling too anxious and gave me plenty of explanation and time to get myself ready. Doctor Choe was very patient with me and told me i can always ask for a break if i felt overwhelmed. She also explained what I needed in terms of dental health and i will be returning to get my chipped tooths filled and consult regarding the 2 wisdom tooths ive been pushing since highschool. All my past dentists have told me i should take them out but also kind of allowed me to push it back since they didnt explain fully of the consequences of leaving it in. Dr.Choe took her time and explained it in ways i can explain why i cant push it back anymore and i understood that i need to think about it seriously. I really appreciated her honesty and am so glad i came to her.
The best of all, it was my first time experiencing scaling without any blood afterwards. I tried to take care of my teeth with good hygiene habits since i really hate going to dentist but my last scaling was like 3 yrs ago. So i was expecting a lot of pain and blood for my scaling but really, no blood at all...i didnt even know that was possible. It also wasnt as painful as i braced myself for. I am so glad my coworker referred me and will be going to doctor Choe for all my dental needs from now on. 100% recommended!

Dr. Choe is gentle but effective. She pays special attention to my needs and always encourages me to take better care of my teeth.

Honestly, I was so worried about my dental health because it had been awhile. Nobody loves going to the dentist after all. But I loved my experience. I had a broken tooth fixed, cavities filled and a cleaning in a span of 4 appointments.

Wait time is short. I waited once for 10 mins which is nothing at a medical/dental practice. Reception is super pleasant, patient and accommodating. The dental assistants are professional, gentle and helpful. Facility is really clean - especially during this pandemic, you can tell of all the measures Dr. Choe and her people are taking in order to keep their patients and themselves safe.

The procedures are done by Dr. Choe herself. She tells you what the problem is, what the remedy is, what the aftercare looks like. How much pain you MIGHT be in (if any - because I was warned but didn’t feel anything after the appointments) and what you can take for relief. Even DURING the procedures, she will give you a heads up to tell you what she’s doing next so you’re not off guard when she does what she needs to. Another thing I loved was that she has a gentle touch. She’s not man-handling your mouth to get her job done like other dentists I’ve been to. So, that’s a major plus.

Overall, really good experience. I can never go to another dentist again. Thank you, Arete Dental.
