(August 21, 2022, 3:05 pm)Very cute place. Our tour guide Cheryl was so lovely! We enjoyed our time exploring this museum and former schoolhouse. As a resident of the Bronx it was a pleasure to see the rich history of this lovely island we've visited so many times.

(August 18, 2021, 8:25 pm)The museum is a treasure of nautical history and of City Island's place in that history. SO many neat stories; the two docents working at the time are long term residents and know a lot of the history. Lots of ship models as well as many artifacts from sailmakers, rigging, a nice compass collection, navigation, tools, engines, communications, scuba, art and photography. An hour well spent and I could have spent more time there honestly!
