(June 24, 2023, 4:41 pm)I moved to the area last year. I have never been more impressed with the staff and selection. Jesse, Tom, Inga and Marge just to name a few have welcomed me as a new patron. If I could give ten stars I would. I am at the library on a regular basis. I have belonged to quite a few libraries in my day and these individuals always go above and beyond. They know my name and that is important to me. They always make every effort to renew any books that I have out…which I usually need. Thank you for welcoming me into the library community.

(February 7, 2023, 7:26 pm)This is such a beautiful library with an enchanting view of Cold Spring Harbor. But most importantly, the staff here are wonderful. They are patient, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. One can also read books and magazines by the fireplace, do work on the computers, attend worthwhile programs, etc. It's impressive and peaceful here.

(September 1, 2022, 4:52 pm)This is the prettiest library I’ve ever scene and stays open super late, the property taxes here must be high. Anyway it had a huge selection of films and some diverse books from stereotypical spy adventure to fantasy to romance novels and an actual quiet area with carpet. Looks some rich persons home but the staff were nice and didn’t bother us as we walked around taking photos. (Bonus it has a little miniature model of itself and the surrounding landscape.)

(March 19, 2022, 8:49 pm)Went to the Cold Spring Harbor Library for the Long Island Green Belt Annual Meeting. The Meeting was very good. The Library itself the steps going down were a little slippery I felt and they could of been marked at the end of the steps and outside could of been better as well at the steps to the parking lot.
