I am so grateful for Dr. Macaluso, and I highly recommend her. Before our appointment, I was using a nipple shield and my baby was struggling to latch let alone feed, and now I can breastfeed successfully without a nipple shield. She explained everything in a really clear way that made it easy for me to put into practice at home. I think maybe most importantly for me, Dr. Macaluso was a really calming presence and she made me feel optimistic about breastfeeding in a way that I hadn't before the appointment

Words cannot express how grateful I am for Dr. Macaluso. Not only did she help solve my breastfeeding concerns and saved our journey by confirming my son’s tongue tie. She has such a warm soul and helped me feel human again, as a first time mom it was a very refreshing experience. 1000% recommend Dr. Macaluso!

I met with Dr. Macaluso this morning for an introductory visit as I am due in 4 weeks, and I felt compelled to write a review immediately following our "visit". I was hoping she would share some best practices and we would have a nice intro but she was SO MUCH MORE than that. Firstly, I was having technical difficulties with the meeting app and ended up starting a half hour late but she honored my full appointment time! Next, she was so encouraging and sweet. She seriously made me feel so at ease and excited to breastfeed. Between her energy, support and tips I seriously could not recommend her enough!!

Dr. Lauren Macaluso was very welcoming, knowledgeable and understanding of my lactating concerns and issues. I was overproducing and it was extremely painful to breastfeed. I needed some guidance on what to do, she helped me discover that my baby was tongue and lip tied and referred me to a great surgeon, she also taught me proper breastfeeding techniques to control my supply. I have been nursing with no pain or problems since, I highly recommend any mother with breastfeeding issues or just needs some guidance to visit her. Thank you so much for your help Dr. Macaluso!
