Fathoms Hotel & Marina

We stayed at the Fathoms Hotel & Marina while we were in town for a friend's wedding.

I have traveled extensively over nearly 10 years both internationally and domestic, and I have never been as delighted with a hospitality experience as I was here.

The owners and staff are attentive and committed to the finest details of the stay, and the space itself is warm, secure, welcoming, ultimately creating an experience that is as comfortable as staying with long-time friends.

While I don't expect to be back to the area any time soon, I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know. My boyfriend legitimately asked if we could stay here when we need to travel to Manhattan for work (too far, unfortunately!!).

The only tricky part of the stay is parking, however the owners have crafted finely detailed instructions to ensure a simple arrival for guests.

The Fathom was one of the best hotel experience I have had in my 66 years. I have travel all over the world and Steve & Cindie provide a true best in class guest experience. Room was clean and well appointed, private deck was the stuff of vacation memories, and the amenities were outstanding. The owners are genuinely nice folks! It was an 11 out of 10 for us!

My son stayed at Fathoms on the night of their wedding and they said it was the perfect, serene and lovely place after the wild wonderful chaos of the day. The room was modern, comfortable and spotless. They enjoyed their own private balcony and watched the sunset over the sound. The host, Cindi, brought them a lovely basket of breakfast goodies that they enjoyed outside as well. Cindi was so warm and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure my son and his new bride's stay was perfect. I could not recommend more highly.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine care by the owners Steve and Cindie. The level of customer service provided was truly outstanding. They were not only attentive and professional but also displayed a genuine willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist created a welcoming and comforting environment throughout our stay.

The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The breakfast provided was not just your typical continental breakfast but a variety of freshly-baked bagels and pastries from the local bakery, personally picked-up by Steve and Cindie. The attention to detail and quality of the food were remarkable. Additionally, the coffee/snack bar was a delightful touch, offering a wide selection of beverages and refreshments to enjoy throughout the day. The highlight, however, was the stunning view from the hotel's bay-facing balcony. It provided a picturesque backdrop that enhanced the overall experience, leaving us in awe of the natural beauty surrounding the property. Imagine having a cup of coffee or tea while with a gorgeous view of the water!

I cannot praise Steve and Cindie enough for their commitment to providing a truly exceptional guest experience. Every aspect of our stay was carefully thought out and executed to perfection. Their dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making it clear that they genuinely care about their guests' comfort and enjoyment.

I wholeheartedly recommend Fathoms to anyone seeking an extraordinary hotel experience. The level of hospitality, combined with the outstanding amenities and breathtaking views, creates a truly unforgettable stay. We are already making plans of returning because of the true rest we experienced.

What a find. We just returned from the first of hopefully many stays at Fathoms. The rooms are exquisite, and Cindie and Steve provided top of class service. I cannot believe this place is only a half hour from home we felt like we were on an island somewhere. We came in to see a show at the Landmark which is a 10 min walk, had a nice dinner at Louis Steakhouse right next store and returned to the nicest shower I've ever seen in a hotel.
One suggestion, come early and enjoy. We arrived way to late!!!
