I met the owner/proprietor Ron Terner of Focal Point over 20 years ago and his devotion/love of his establishment and the community he serves is limitless. Ron would literally give you his "shirt off his back" to help anyone in need. His artistically creative sense of photography is boundless. We have a true photographic master artist in our midst and many of his patrons/customers don't realize it. His photographic art creations should be exhibited in Soho galleries or Moma or the Met yet here they are at the Focal Point in City Island. Ron also offers the public, opportunities to exhibit your own art work every month. What more can you ask for. He also sells very unique semi-precious jewelry for those looking for great gifts.

The Focal Point Gallery is a single room exhibition space founded and run by professional photographer Ron Terner.
