(February 12, 2023, 1:01 pm)My girlfriends and I visited George White restaurant for the first time during Long Island Restaurant Week and it was a commendable experience. Cathy, our server and the owner prepared our drinks, offered recommendations for the meal and provided great service. For drinks we ordered the lemon drop and martinis; for appetizers we ordered the short ribs, brussel sprouts, spinach dip; for dinner we ordered the filet of sole piccata and chicken piccata; dessert was the carrot cake and chocolate cake. The food came out hot, was delicious and well prepared. We highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely visit again.

(December 20, 2022, 9:56 pm)Randomly stopped by on the way to Sagamore Hill. The restaurant was very festive (Dec visit) and the staff were amazing. The food was good. I had the Ceasar salad with chicken. I would recommend when in the area.

I learned that it is a family owned business, and everyone we encountered was so kind and accommodating from start to finish. The drinks were particularly awesome; we ordered an elderflower tom collins and lychee martini. We will definitely be back!
