During my mother’s stay at the Glen Cove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center I had the pleasure of working with Lynda Torel, the Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. Lynda’s care and attention to my mother’s needs were exceptional. She ensured all her equipment was working efficiently and was periodically sanitized. Her technician, Ken, exemplified the high standards and kind and personal attention prevalent throughout Lynda’s department. They made a scary and difficult time easier for us all. Thank you, Lynda, for your compassionate approach to health care. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In 2011 I came to the Glen Cove Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation following a total knee replacement. I arrived in a wheelchair and walked out. Fast forward to April 2023. Following a total knee replacement on the opposite knee, I requested to be admitted here again for rehab. Everyone here is so warm and friendly, from the nursing supervisors, to the nurses, to the certified nursing assistants, to the physical and occupational therapists, all the way to the housekeeping staff. The care and therapy I received was exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend the Glen Cove Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation to anyone needing any type of rehab. Kudos to the entire staff for unparalleled care.

Staff friendly and on top of all of my mothers, medical and physical conditions. They keep in touch with me however, I would like to be able to reach them a little more easily. The rehab is clean and the ambience is pleasant no odors. My son thought it looked like a hotel.

I was extremely pleased with the from the very first session of the Cardiopulmonary program at Glen Cove Center that I attended . I found it informative. The leader of the group Lynda Torel touched on critical areas regarding my current health issues. I found the care here excellent and all the people involved were dedicated and knowledgeable in meeting my needs.

My mom's who is over 100 and very lucid has been in rehab 3x. This is her first time at Glencove. I am very happy with her care. The employees interact with the residents. They are treated with dignity She rings her buzzer and she's attended to in minutes. Most important, is that she herself is happy with the care.
