(June 22, 2023, 9:31 pm)I came in for a root canal. Once I was sat down in the dentist's chair I was told that I have a previous balance of just under $500 plus my work that day will be another $400 after insurance.
This all had to be paid that day!!!
The manager expressed they sent medical/dental bills in the mail. I explained that I add that to the pile of medical bills for a family of 4 and pay them accordingly, BUT to let me know this while I'm in the chair about to have work done AND after requesting a day off of work was unfair.
I don't have that $ on me or anywhere, so am I to go back home?
At the moment this news really broke me. After requesting the day off from work when my time is limited and for a root canal then to be told after you're in the chair is unprofessional!!!!!
I got up and proceeded to walk out and explained this to front desk when they got the manager. The manager said she can work with me if I pay a 3rd of full amount that day.
Why couldn't that be offered up front?????
Needless to say - upset and all I went ahead and did the procedure but I was so upset and overall sad.
Now things took a good turn, Nilsa was there - I believe she is a dental assistant. She was so extremely kind and support and really helped my mood. She spoke to me about who I'd see next, Dr. Zafar. Dr. Zafar was as nice and caring as I remember from a previous visit she was so helpful and attentive the whole way.
Thank you to both Nilsa and Dr. Zafar for helping me through this visit.
I'm giving 5 starts but only because of those two.
The ladies at the front were short with me after the procedure, WHILE I was in pain. You know making sure I set up those future payment for auto funds transfer. I understand it's a business but some kindness and a heads up of what is owed (since I have to pay before further work is done) when calling to confirm appointment would help? -

(December 9, 2022, 5:29 pm)I used to come here and after moving I wasn’t happy at my current dentist so I had to come back! The staff here is amazing and Leah makes you feel welcomed and happy. I love the staff here and would definitely recommend them to anyone!
