Dr. Stein is an incredible doctor, I’ve been a client of his since he was at his previous clinic and I recently got a puppy who was pretty sick and GVC was able to fit us in the same day. There’s an additional work-in fee but it’s absolutely worth it when you know it isn’t emergency room worthy but still urgent enough to warrant same day treatment.

Dr. Stein is thorough, caring, and efficient…everything and more you can ask for in a doctor. Joyce, his assistant is extremely sweet and patient as well.

Dr. Stein and his whole team were wonderful. I came in skeptical of all the good reviews, but this team lived up to every single compliment posted here. I was seated on the floor of the exam room with my anxious cat and Dr. Stein sat right down on the floor with me. He and his staff asked really thoughtful questions and really listened to me and my concerns. I never felt rushed or pressured into anything. We came up with an affordable treatment plan that felt comfortable to both of us and I left feeling incredibly relieved. I have honestly never had such good bedside manner even with my own doctors practice. Highly recommend!! Thanks GVC!!

Such an amazing experience. I had just moved to Greenpoint and I was skeptical about trying a new vet because it’s a lot of trust giving them your babies. However this vet made me feel very welcomed, safe and they took the time to answer all of my questions. Overall I left feeling better and my cat did too. I will definitely stick with this vet for as long as I live in Greenpoint.

Dr. Stein is an excellent communicator. He took the time to explain all of our options in caring for our elderly dog with arthritis. The vet assistants / front desk people are very kind. I highly recommend this practice!

My lil one, Abigail, and I love Dr. Stein, Emily and staff. They are kind, patient, thorough and beyond trustworthy. Dr. Stein actually cares about his patients and addresses all my crazy protective mom questions. He did dental extractions on my cat and she was a changed girl after that! Much more comfortable and healthy! I'm assured that Abigail will get the best possible care when in Dr. Stein and Emily's hands.
