I highly recommend The Heritage Center for Rehabilitation. I had my dad at this center for 3+ months. The day he entered I was skeptical because we had not have good experiences with other nearby rehabilitations centers, however I can now say this place would be my first choice. First week there I met Flora who is in charge of administration. She was thorough and listened to all my questions and concerns. She not only reassured me this would be a good fit for my dad, she took the time to answer all my questions. I slowly started meeting the staff and each one was pleasant and helpful. Michelle the social worker is so helpful and really helped out with the process of finally getting him home. Michelle was essential in helping me get everything in place and ready to have him come home. Front desk was always pleasant and sweet, always smiling and made us feel comfortable. Going there everyday would seem like a chore for most but that was never the feeling I had because of how great they were from the moment you enter. The love and care didn't end at the Lobby, my dad was on the first floor and that is where the real magic is. my dad being more fluent in Spanish never felt any type of discrimination. He always said he felt welcomed and cared for. Leaving your loved one in the hands of others is always hard but not at the Heritage Center, it was great to always get an update if something happened and it was nice to be greeted by first name. More importantly my dad was always happy when I got there to see him every afternoon and would tell me all about his day at Therapy and how his favorite Nurse Chen was in and reminding him to drink his water. He would tell me about the recreation for the day with his friends and Shaneka even got him to play BINGO. His other buddy's as he called them (Abel and Waking) always made sure dad had his afternoon coffee. He would tell me about all his friends that help him get through his day easier such as Michelle, Benjamin, Frances, Roberto, William and many more whom I'm sure I am forgetting their names right now. I can't express how thankful and grateful I am to all the wonderful people at the Heritage Center that took great care of my dad and who made it possible for us to have my dad home. I highly recommend The Heritage Rehabilitation Center.
I love this nursing home. I am a professional clown/magician/clarinet player and I have performed here numerous times over the years. I feel at home here. It is an excellent nursing home! The Staff is top notch and very professional.
Highly recommended!
My dad was placed in this facility for rehab and was taken such good care of. I must praise the the social worker Michelle who gave round the clock attention and was there for my dad and my family every step of the way. She took the time to explain the facility, made sure he was comfortable and settled in, and followed up with the family to see if there was anything she could do and/or if there was anything more my dad may have needed.
Thanks again to the staff of this wonderful facility.
Let me start off by saying that the Heritage and all its staff are amazing. Our grandmother’s condition has complicated and the doctors at the hospital recommended a skilled nursing facility because otherwise her long-term specialized care needs wouldn’t be met. At first, we were very hesitant because of the negative reviews about this place but our experience has been a blessed and grateful opposite. Each and everyone of the nurses, aids, doctors, social worker and all staff in the facility have been so helpful, accommodating, respectful, responsible and reassuring. Everyone has made sure to maintain constant and clear communication with family members, so we are always informed of every detail. They never hesitate to hear us out and work together to resolve any matter. We can feel at ease with the care provided and know that she can’t be in better hands. We are immensely thankful to all of you and for welcoming us into the Heritage family!
