(June 15, 2023, 6:03 pm)What a find in Glen Cove, NY. We had to call to get directions in because it's a little hidden away, but it did not disappoint. The people were super nice and helpful. There was so much information and so many treasures. The garden was as breathtakingly beautiful as it was heartbreaking. I highly recommend it.

The museum offers exhibits that teach folks history of the Holocaust and the lessons we learn and dangers of "antisemitism, racism, bullying, and all manifestations of intolerance."
The adjacent Children's Memorial Garden is beautifully kept and is dedicated to the children that perished during WWII and those children who were lost during the Holocaust. -

(October 8, 2022, 1:05 pm)This review is for Welwyn Preserve and Holocaust museum grounds. Excellent garden with thoughtful inscriptions. Paths lead to Long Island sound, beautiful any time of the year. Nice quiet trails at preserve.

(September 15, 2022, 6:40 pm)I didn't go inside the building, but the children's garden/ the garden itself was phenomenal. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Beyond touching quotes (and small bios) from some phenomenal humans that were perished. All the senses are attuned here.
In love with the garden, can stay here all day. So much nature and life. So many butterflies and rabbits, highly recommend.
Met some of the staff here, who are dedicated to helping people learn more about the Holocaust and what led to the Holocaust. The staff at the center are very knowledgable. -
