Great sensei who has background in the origins of shotokan. Super knowledgeable, and practical teacher. It's a small dojo physically but that won't stop you from learning and having space to practice. Fairly priced too, especially compared to other dojos.

If you are looking for traditional martial arts, this is the place to go. Horie Karate Dojo is the best place to train in Shotokan Karate. Sensei Horie is a Master in his craft and he is an incredible teacher. His attention to detail is beyond any instructor I have ever trained with. The dojo is a wonderful place to have children learn martial arts, develop discipline, and build self confidence. His adults classes are very active and covers all of the basics and advanced teachings of Shotokan Karate. Awesome dojo, I highly recommend training here!
