Parent engagement is something that has to be worked on but that comes from the parents perspective. The school is evolving.Sorry, but I don't see longevity for the school. I wish I can say differently because the staff is wonderful.
What I love about Gotham as a parent there are alternative ways to graduate other then taking the standard test. The students at Gotham are graded on their portfolio based assessment test (PBAT) which is like a thesis not state exams, such the regents the only Regents Gotham student takes would be the ELA which is standard across the board. The students of Gotham graduates with a regents diploma just as any other school. They have a bullies and no one is addressing it...I'll update when this problem has been solved for every student in this school.

I Consider This School One Of The BEST High Schools in Brooklyn, NY Hands Downs
I really like this school because they help the student's in every possible way they can including collage readiness and help them in all with making sure they are prepared for the real world when they graduate. One more thing I really like is how close the teacher's work with the student's to make sure they are on the same page as everyone else so no student feels left behind.
