Laconia Nursing Home

Taking our father to a nursing home for the first time was one of the most difficult decisions to make. But thanks to
Mr Kenneth Mendez and Laconia Nursing Home, everything was much easier.
The introduction of the facility was amazing . Everything was explained to us in full detail and all of our questions were answered in a professional , kind and compassionate matter.

The amazing devotion of the nurses and staff was an important contribution in facilitating my father’s speedy recovery. The expertise of the professionals, combined with genuine warmth and a cheerful attitude, made his stay an extremely positive experience.

My father was treated with respect, kindness and dignity. The attention to detail to his specific needs made all that much of a difference, to not only his physical, but also mental health. We definitely recomend this place!

My parents have been here for 2 years and I could not be more grateful and happy that I chose Laconia. I had to place my parents here as an emergency during the pandemic and was very anxious and stressed about the process. My first contact was Josephine who was absolutely amazing and lovely, she helped ease all of my fears and made me feel hopeful that everything would be ok. They helped me so much through the entire process and I felt blessed to have chosen Laconia. All of the staff that I have worked with have been awesome, Ann Braunstein is wonderful and has been very helpful and guided me through all the questions I have had. Barbara and Monique are amazing as well and do a wonderful job of planning activities and helping all of the residents. I have a great relationship with the nursing staff, especially Ama and Marston who are lovely. Mr. Berger is also great and professional, did a great job of helping families be able to visit during this difficult Covid time. Mr. Muniz is awesome and kind, Vema is absolutely wonderful and always takes time to listen to any health concerns I have. Laconia has been a godsend for my family and I love visiting, talking to the staff and helping out with activities when I can. My parents are safe and happy and I thank the Laconia staff for being wonderful and kind.

My brother has been living there for many years. Administration nursing staff are very attentive to family as well to my brother. He looks happy. I am satisfied with there care. Plus nursing home in general, clean

Our first impression of the facility was definitely positive. The rooms, floors and hallways were always clean. My aunt was at Laconia for rehab and I'm glad she was! The courteous, caring and compassionate staff goes a long way. Rehab team is phenomenal. A lot of great activities for people to participate in as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing rehab.
