He is also a very caring professional who explains every part of the diagnosis and creates a well thought out plan for how to handle the issue. His office is clean and efficient. The staff is friendly and also explain the details of what you need to know for your visit. I would highly recommend Dr Dagly and Long Island Hand to shoulder center!

(April 15, 2022, 6:48 pm)Dr. Hochwald was amazing! My 11 year old son broke his elbow in two places and needed surgical repair. After surgery and PT, you’d never know it was broken! He was great with him, encouraged him to do the exercises and what he needed to do to get back to activity. My son was in so much pain when it happened, and he got him into surgery that day. I will recommend to everyone!!

(November 21, 2021, 11:45 am)Had a bicycle accident and had a sore hand for several weeks. Had X-rays taken at an Urgent Car center (cam back clean), local hospital (internist recommended) that also came back clean. Finally booked an appointment with Dr Ellstein. After a brief exam, a few X-rays (all very efficient), the source of my discomfort was apparent..... a broken bone in my wrist. Apparently it's not a common break and does not show up unless you take the correct X-ray angles. I've learned by lesson...best to go to an expert. Very pleased
