Long Island National Cemetery

My Grandparents, my Parents, two Uncles and a close family friend are buried here. This past Thursday July 27, 2023 we interred my brothers ashes with a short beautiful service under one of the shelters. My brother passed on December 10, 2022. He served in the United States Air Force and attained the rank of SSGT during Viet Nam time.
I cannot thank Mr. Mundo enough for the compassion and care he showed to myself and my family. From filling out paperwork to guiding us to the shelter to reassuring me he would be in constant sight of my brothers ashes.

I visit the Cemetery several times a years and have not had any problems. If I see that the grave needs to be reseeded I stop into the office on my way home and fill out a repair sheet.

Pineland National Cemetery is immaculately kept, going to our loved ones Graves is easy, staff helpful, it's just a beautiful final resting place. God Bless those interred there.

I am writing on behalf of a friend who just buried his mom after his mom passed 14 years prior and didn't leave any instructions for him, so I helped him with the funeral arrangements. Daisy was not only an outstanding staff member of the Long Island National Cemetery but went above and beyond for my friend. Took care of all the details, plus then some. He was only 5 years old when he had previously visited his dad's location until now as an adult to bury his mom alongside her husband and older son. It touched me deeply how kind, caring, personable, and touching everything went. Really great staff.

The Administrative Officer Michael Fehn went above and beyond in helping me to find my late uncle, a Navy vet, buried in a different location, Calverton. Thank you so much for your kind attention and assistance.
