My friend said, “okay” after he said they had the founder and the waiter took it as a “yes” and after about 10 min after we got what we ordered we got a whole fish delivered to our table. We explained we hadn’t ordered it but it was a misunderstanding. We ended up keeping it and honestly it was really good (just doubled our meal in price unexpectedly)

(January 13, 2023, 6:17 pm)First of all and most important, the food is wonderful. Always fresh tasting and delicious. We introduced our friends from Franklin Lakes to the Lotus Cafe and they come down to Hackensack to enjoy very good Chinese cuisine. From the wait staff to the Front Desk to the Manager, the personnel is terrific. We have been coming to the Lotus for years and we’re so happy that they were able to survive the pandemic and continue to offer their superb menu of delicious appetizers, soups and entrees.
