Lynbrook Restorative Therapy & Nursing

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation and praise for one of your outstanding staff members, Ava Rosan, Social Worker. My husband has been a patient at Lynbrook Restorative Therapy & Nursing numerous times. Each time he was greeted by the staff with open arms and a smile. The staff is wonderful. However, Ava, what can I say. She immediately came in, with her friendly smile, kind demeanor and introduced herself. We liked her immediately. She has a way of speaking to you. She’s empathic, patient and tries to understand what’s going on. What your concerns are. If there’s an issue or a problem, Ava takes the initiative. She tries hard by collaborating with the patient, family and/or staff to reach a solution. When my husband and I needed guidance, Ava was always there. In those times of guidance Ava provided much needed experience, knowledge and emotional support. For that alone, I truly thank her.
Social Work is very demanding and a times thankless job but so rewarding. As a previous employee of the Human Resources Administration, I know this job is not easy. Social Work is a calling. In your heart, you must want to help others. It may be difficult at times, physically exhausting and emotionally draining. Yet, you don’t see that with Ava. She will greet you with a smile and say, “what’s wrong” and “how can I help to make it better”. She does it without thinking. It’s who she is. How admirable. I appreciate all her efforts in trying to get services for my husband by coordinating with various agencies/facilities. Now imagine doing this plus everything I mentioned or didn’t mention, for that matter, for all your residents/patients with grace and a smile. What a Gem.
As such, I am proud to say, she is one of the main reasons why Lynbrook Restorative Therapy & Nursing is always my first choice. Yes, Lynbrook Restorative Therapy & Nursing is by far one of the top premier facilities known for rehab, nursing, wound care, etc. However, Your Social Worker, Ava Rosan is outstanding. Her willingness to help and assist my husband James and I overcome insurmountable challenges is a testament to her dedication. She truly cares about her patients and their families. She has provided superb support and guidance to my husband and my family. She truly is an invaluable asset to your team.

My mom, Caroline Manna, was in Lynbrook Restorative and Nursing for 9 years. She received such excellent care. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. A big thank you to Roxanne, Ava, Christine and her nurse Jennifer. I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful care Mommy received..

I am so happy with the care my mom receives. The staff is really helpful and caring. Plenty of activities for the residents. The shaded garden is a great space to spend time with Mom outside of the building. Always keeps me informed of any and all situations. So thankful for the services my Mom is getting.
