Dr Marisa Lau is truly professional. She is through, patient, caring, with a wonderful personality. It is a pleasure seeing her at my appointments.
Dr Lau takes pride in her profession. With my eye condition, I have appointments with Dr. Lau almost once a month and every time I go-I start apprehensive and anxious but by the end of the appointment Dr Lau takes the time to explain every detail, makes you feel comfortable and puts your mind at ease.
She is very knowledgeable about my situation and shows that she actually cares about her patients. She’s very professional and takes her time. My first visit I was afraid of the thought of eye infections but now I just relax and let her do as she needs to. I’d recommend her to anyone.
I was referred to NJ Retina by my ophthalmologist. My first visit was terrific. From checking in, to the techs who did my eye exam and finally meeting Dr. Lau.. So pleasant and very professional. What I loved about her was after my exam, she asked if I had any questions which I did and she took the time to answer my questions, which I truly appreciated. So glad to have had her for my initial visit. Thanks Dr. Lau and staff.
I have had good experiences with NJ Retina since having my detached retinas surgeries some 20 years ago. The doctors I’ve had are top notch, they’ve saved me from blindness. The staff has always been professional and courteous. This visit I was seen by Dr. Lau for the first time. She was very thorough in her examination, very friendly, informative and answered all my questions.
