Marvel Frozen Dairy

I've lived on LI my whole life and never have taken the time to stop at Marvel. Glad we did, we finally understand what the hype is about. Buyer beware, they're still cash only, there is an ATM on site but for a small fee. Great fresh Ice Cream.

THEY HAVE VEGAN (DAIRY-FREE) ICE CREAM NOW!!! I used to go to Marvel all the time as a kid, and I stopped going early last year because I had to eliminate dairy from my diet for health reasons. I was devastated being that it is not only my favorite ice cream place ever, but it is one of my favorite places on Long Island--period. But, they recently added two vegan (dairy-free) options: raspberry and vanilla. I had the vegan vanilla today and it tastes exactly the same as the regular (dairy) vanilla--I couldn't even spot the difference!!! So happy about this, and if you unfortunately find yourself in a predicament like mine by being forced to make a drastic dietary change, you (fortunately) can still enjoy Marvel :)

The best soft serve ice cream I have had in my life. But I'm not admitting my age to let you know how long that's been. During busy times be prepared to be patient with the parking lot. Also be respectful of other people coming in and don't stay in the parking lot longer than you have to. Signs posted say 15 minute max.

Marvel ice cream and yogurt stop. This place is chosen after beach stop off spot. Easy in and out fast service and nice staff. No need to buy the Large size of the cup ice cream or yogurt as the medium is totally enough. Enjoy

I ordered the dulce de leche with rainbow sprinkles and my friend ordered the vanilla ice cream with sprinkles (pictured). Honestly, it was fine. The dulce de leche was a little too sweet for my taste, but it wasn't bad-tasting. The portions are good for the price. I'd say this ice cream is overhyped (although my friends loved it, so take that as you will).
