Mellisa goes above and beyond! She isn’t your typical once a week “how does that make you feel counselor”! She’s compassionate and connects on a level you wouldn’t think a marriage counselor would. It’s like sitting there talking to a friend. It’s casual and comfortable but at the same time very professional and knowledgeable. There is a constant two-way dialogue and you never feel you’re doing all the talking. She cares deeply for those she works with and is super passionate about what she does. I was amazed to see her commitment and concern throughout my year with her both in the office and out. She often checked in with me on off hours when she really knew I needed it.
