My boyfriend and I love coming here! Oshinbo is a cute little(but wide variety) of oriental foods, goods and products. They have homemade meals, food, and drinks (like bubble tea). We absolutely love this store!!
I am thrilled to have discovered an absolute gem for Japanese food enthusiasts like myself. Tucked away in this peaceful suburb, I stumbled upon a Japanese grocery store that has exceeded my expectations in every way. From its exceptional convenience to its remarkable variety, this store has quickly become my go-to destination for all things Japanese. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The store is thoughtfully organized, making it easy to navigate through the vast array of products. As an Asian person, I deeply appreciate the attention to detail in curating an authentic selection that caters to a wide range of culinary needs. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a home cook exploring Japanese cuisine for the first time, this store has you covered.
Absolutely spectacular. Make sure to go in the back side with the SUSHI sign and visit the king of sushi the kind gentleman who has nice hair and order something from him. If it's special make sure to order or call in advance!
H-Mart in Yonkers has a much bigger selection and probably lower prices (though I'm not completely sure about that). But to get to H-Mart you need to drive across the county and fight your way through traffic, and it's insanely crowded for such a big store. You walk out the door with a full shopping cart, but exhausted.
Oishinobo is convenient and has pretty much everything you could want in the realm of Japanese groceries. Love the yakisoba, rice vinegar, quart-sized containers of soy sauce, big bags of Tokuho Rose rice, supermarket sushi, etc. I can eat the Umami crunchy garlic in chili oil right out of the jar. Oishinobo is never crowded and the service is great. Two big thumbs up.
One of my favorite local specialized grocery stores. Stop in and order fresh chirashi (sashimi over a bed seasoned sushi rice) and bubble tea. Friendly family owned business. I frequently stop in for tea or a snack like an edamame rice ball pictured here. Their fish is always fresh.
