Palisades Preschool & Kindergarten

Palisades Preschool provides a wonderful environment for children to learn, play, and grow. My son has been going here since he turned 2 and he always walks in with a smile on his face. Palisades has wonderful teachers and staff who really take the time to get to know your child and make you feel like they are invested in their growth and happiness as much as you are. They provide a monthly calendar that explains the curriculum, as well as special events that are held throughout the month. They also provide weekly activities like music class, gym class, gymnastics, and creative movement which my son adores. There is also an aftercare program which they are very flexible with which is always helpful as a working mom. My husband and I are so happy we made the choice to enroll our son in such a wonderful school (as well as summer camp). Highly recommend!

Palisades Preschool is truly a gem. Both my daughters (1.5 and 4 years old) go to Palisades, and we could not be happier with their experience. I was looking for a caring, loving, and educationally well-rounded environment for my children, and that is exactly what I have found at Palisades. My girls love going to school and learn so much everyday. Their curriculum is outstanding (reading, math, art, weekly specials like STEM, gym, dance, music), and they also offer a diverse set of after school enrichment activities like cooking, dance, robotics, etc. The school also has monthly Make a Difference projects to teach the children the importance of giving and helping those in need. What really sets Palisades apart from the rest, though, are their teachers. They are deeply caring, experienced, and dedicated to the well-being of every child. They care for my children as they are their own, and that is all I could wish for as a mom! I feel extremely lucky to have found such a wonderful school for my children, and I would highly recommend Palisades to anyone!

We love PPS. My son has been attending PPS since he was 20 months and loves it. He walks in with a smile on his face everyday. The teachers and staff are amazing. They make him feel safe and always attend to his needs. They are family. You get daily pictures an updates throughout the day. There curriculum is great during the school year. They have science class, music class, gym etc. Summer camp is all about learning, having fun and being outdoors.

Palisades Preschool has always been known as the best in Fort Lee & its reputation has remained amazing throughout the years. Sending my baby off to preschool was not a decision I made lightly, and although I am also an alum of Palisades, I still did my research and checked out multiple schools to make sure I was giving my son the best of the best. As a former kindergarten teacher and very hands on mom, I walked into Palisades with a (very) long list of questions and analyzed every detail of the school I possible could- the classrooms, the teachers, the curriculum & materials, and I was so so so pleased. Although Palisades focuses on academics and does AMAZING projects, they also value the key components of what a preschool should focus on: friendship making, art, music, playing, socializing, and HAVING FUN!!!! As a parent, all I want is for my baby to be happy, nurtured, loved, cared for, and to feel safe. There is always a warm smile waiting for him at the door at drop off- such a sense of comfort when you're sending your baby off for the day. The extracurricular programs are incredible & really make Palisades stand out from so many other local schools- Dance with Ms. Lia, Sports with Coach Toni and Music with Ms. Momo- 3 INCREDIBLE teachers- nurturing, loving, amazing influences for these young children. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for these programs. The office staff and teachers are so accommodating- they welcome any and all questions and phone calls (especially during the transition into the new school year which is SUCH a big deal for parents). The monthly calendars are thorough & give great insight into all of the amazing learning & activities going on in the classrooms. Teachers work diligently to post pictures on the ProCare app which is just INCREDIBLE for parents to receive updates about their child daily & see their smiling faces in photos all the time! Palisades Preschool has had a wonderful reputation for the past 50+ years for a reason and I am so extremely grateful for them!!!

I just want to share my positive experience with Palisades Preschool. I've had 3 children in the school and they have all flourished socially and academically. The staff & teachers are incredibly caring, the curriculum for each class is impressive, and their daily enrichment programs - such as gym, movement & music - are the perfect additions to the program.
My children all love their teachers & friends and I would highly recommend this preschool to anyone in the area!
