Peace in Piermont

Love Peace in Piermont, especially the Early Childhood Music & Meet Up class! I’ve been taking my 3 month old daughter who I thought would be too young but she loves it so much! The class is so entertaining, all the kids love getting involved with the musical instruments and singing along. It’s also such a treat to meet up with local parents after the class. Highly reccomend!!!!

As soon as you walk into Peace in Piermont you feel a sense of community. I have been bringing my 7 month old daughter to the Early Childhood Music classes for a few months now and she just lights up when she hears Bandmate Matty. He is awesome with the little ones and they are so engaged and entertained during the class. Katie is a calm presence, so sweet and inclusive with all the parents and children that attend the class. The meet ups after class are also fun for the kids and the adults who gets to support each other and socialize as well. I drive all the way from Astoria, Queens to attend these music classes because my baby loves it so much! I wish I lived closer to come to the other events offered at PIP. We absolutely love Peace in Piermont.

So far I’ve attended two yoga classes at Peace in Piermont and I absolutely love it! It’s in the center of piermont and feels like a great way to connect with the community. The first class I went to was a family yoga class which was perfect for me and my 3yr old to do something fun and mindful together. The second class I took was an adult class that was just delicious, the teacher was wonderful and well suited for all experience levels. The owner Katie is a local mom as well and is so welcoming and cares so much. there’s a lot of heart at Peace in Piermont, highly recommend for kids and adults alike!

Found this gem while planning for my daughter’s birthday. It was the perfect place to celebrate her birthday. In all my years of planning my kiddos’ parties, this was the most stress free. Marianne and crew thought of all the details…decorated, provide face painting as an option, engaged the children, and more. The most touching and unexpected thing was the cards that all her friends drew for her and pictures from the day. We all had a great time. Highly recommend! Thank you, Marianne, Vivian, Isamar, and crew for a fabulous, memorable day!

What a delightful place to allow children to create, meditate and celebrate. Kate, Mary Ann and the rest of the crew are just amazing. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here with her friends. The children had a fantastic time with all the activities- drawing, painting, glow in the dark yoga and flower arrangement. The place and people are warm and down to earth- my kind of people and place.
