I gave her a call before booking so I could consult with her about my desired style, she was very nice easy going and respectful. I booked right then and there. On the day of my appointment all went well. A Pro for me was the fact that she assessed my hair and came up with a suggestion to tweak the hairstyle to make sure the health of my hair was priority. She’s well experienced. Love that! My style came out great and lasted long, funds well spent.
Things to know:
- She works solo, there will be no extra persons in your hair.
-Her styling is very neat.
-Braids will take some time (that’s the same everywhere). -

(May 12, 2023, 7:36 am)Shamara is the best! Very professional, on time and does great work on my 11 year old daughter’s hair. She’s done box braids and goddess braids and each time it’s beautifully done, not too tight that it hurts her but perfect to last 6 weeks even with washing it regularly. She’s already scheduled to do her braids next month for our European vacation and again in July for her to attend summer sleep away camp! Book early as she’s very popular and gets booked up fast! You won’t be disappointed as she really is the best!

Not only was she very kind, knowledgeable, and genuine; but she is very talented, and had me walking out of the salon feeling myself. This was my first time going here and I will definitely be back, she is worth the price. I got the full goddess braids and it’s been two months and I’m still rocking them. If you needed a sign to help make up your mind, here it is. Support black businesses ❤️
