Scarsdale Frame & Art

I just acquired what is called a “GOLD TONE” photograph that needs light to bring out the image to its fullest.
I didn’t know the image itself was on the back side of the glass. There was no photo paper like a typical photograph. The experts at Scarsdale Frame pointed out that fact out to me and advised me NOT to put non-glare glass in this frame.They said the solution was to get an art spotlight and that would solve the glare & light issues. They were correct! Over the years their suggestions have always worked for me.

My wife and I have been long time customers of the Scarsdale Frame and Art shop. Over the years Gary, the owner and his staff have framed virtually all of our artwork and family portraits that decorate our home. I purchased 2 beautiful signed photographs for my husband's birthday and I wanted them framed simply, yet beautifully. This shop did exactly what I wanted - the photos look great - like you would see in a museum. I was also told about special glass that protects the photo and is reduces glare - which I decided to do as well. Very happy with this store. Nice, friendly staff too.

I am a portrait painter as is my daughter. I live on Long Island but about 2 years ago a friend from Westchester told me that he does all of his framing with Scarsdale Art and Frame, and has never been so satisfied with the results. I am very particular when it comes to framing my portraits, as is my daughter. I decided to give Scarsdale Art and Frame a go.
