Made a difficult process very easy.
I called Captain John a day prior to the sea burial (scattering ashes). I left a message which was quickly returned. Captain John explained what the service entailed and we set up the services for the next morning. When morning arrived the weather was a bit inclement in terms of high winds and gusts and Captain John called informing that the service/boat ride had to be canceled. I asked if it was possible to move it to the afternoon since I was leaving town the next day. He made a phone call and made it worked. Captain John was very accommodating, responsive, and respectful. I highly recommend this company / service for anyone who would like to give a proper sea burial.
Saturday September 21, 2019 Our family and friends experienced the most sacred, sweet time. I noticed you took extra special care with our elderly Mom & sisters, not only boarding but keeping a close eye on them on board. We set free our Patty & Rich to be one with, at peace in the glorious Sea. Thank you Captain John, Mike, Daniel, all the crew mates for making everything absolutely perfect for our "Splashes of Ashes" The care & attention to detail you all took was phenomenal - the tolling of the 8 bells & Captain's special prose while PERFECTLY timed with the exquisite sunset - just absolutely beyond words amazing. Giving us each a long stemmed rose to toss or keep was an extra nice touch. We will be highly recommending your services for all we know. This was truly perfect. We and our Beloveds are very, very happy with this sacred time for their care & will never, ever forget. Thank you all for being there for us at such a bittersweet time. We will never forget all of you. MUCH LOVE & GRATITUDE!!!
