Spectrum Physical Therapy and Athletic Training, LLC Old Tappan

A year ago, I’d severely injured the tendon in my right thumb. I’d gone to the orthopedist and gotten steroid shots to alleviate the trigger finger that had developed. I was told the next step would be surgery. Going back to the crazy things I do…excessive gardening, etc…by last December my thumb was so stiff and painful, I couldn’t even open a doorknob, hold a pen, turn a key…many things we take for granted. Even worse for me, I couldn’t do any arts and crafts, baking, sewing, and eventually gardening!
In January, trying to avoid surgery, I sought out a local chiropractor who suggested I try physical therapy at Spectrum Physical Therapy in Old Tappan, Dr. Greg Zaccone. What a godsend!
Today is my last appointment there! After four months of pt with exercises and treatment by Dr. Zaccone, I am totally back to everything I could do before! (I need to be cautious and not overdo as I am prone to do, but I am fully functioning again! Dr. Zaccone has given me guidance and exercises to avoid reinjury.
Over the years I have been to a number of pt facilities throughout Bergen County. The atmosphere, professionalism, compassion, and attention at this one is truly among the very best. The staff and Dr. Greg are wonderful.
They also have a facility in Edgewater.
So, happily I can give them TWO thumbs up! With my utmost appreciation!

I was referred to Spectrum PT by a relative who had been rehabbing with them for sometime. When first arriving (to treat a shoulder injury), we were immediately greeted by Dr. Greg. He was very friendly and gave a very thorough analysis of what needed to be done. After about 3 months of rehab, my shoulder is pain free! Thank you Spectrum PT for all your help!

I recently had a total knee revision on my left knee because of a recall on the initial prosthesis. My surgeon at HSS actually asked me where I was going for therapy because the progress is AMAZING and he praised Spectrum for doing a FANTASTIC job!
My husband, my sister and myself trust no other physical therapy facility, Spectrum is the best!!!!!
Also the staff is very knowledgeable and caring. I give it 10 stars!!!!!

The staff at Spectrum Physical Therapy should get a TEN star review. From the front door, you get a sense of how great this place is about. My therapist truly designed a program that is challenging and leads to meeting my goals. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and more often, my jokes. Going to therapy is something I look forward to. The assistants never stop!! They are always cleaning the machines, tables, materials patients use and checking on everyone. Such a comfortable environment to rehab and get strong.

I went to Spectrum on a recommendation and was more than pleasantly satisfied. I have been to other physical therapists so I know what to compare.
Spectrum is a very professional service provider and flexible with scheduling.
Colleen is my therapist and is the best! Huge improvement in my hand flexibility...I probably do not need therapy any more, but I so enjoy and it actually feels good so I will continue my sessions.
