The Elisabeth Morrow School

This is a remarkable school! The Elisabeth Morrow School has always been deeply rooted in academic excellence, core values and traditions. It is one of the reasons my family and I moved back to this neighborhood and enrolled our children here. As an alumna and current parent to 2 boys, I feel privileged to give my children the opportunity to be children while at the same time igniting their desire to learn. I see the teachings come through in everything they do. They are inquisitive, confident and feel like they can make an impact on the world. My children are happy, secure and know their potential is limitless. This is a very special place.

We are so happy we chose this school for our children. It has been the best life decision we have ever made for them. It's outstanding and second to none.

I cannot say enough good things about EMS! It has truly been nothing short of incredible to watch our daughter grow, learn and become more curious these last few years. Despite the pandemic, our daughter was able to attend full day in person learning!! The small intimate class sizes and phenomenal student : teacher ratio meant that she had 2 full time teachers in her kindergarten class of 14 children and an assistant teacher in addition to her homeroom teacher in first and second grade. This individual attention has allowed her reading, math and science skills to develop quickly, while also providing extra help with areas she needs more attention with. The 4'c of EMS: Courtesy, Consideration, Cooperation, and Compassion shine though in every aspect of the EMS curriculum and experience and we can't wait for our little daughter to start school soon as well!

As an EMS parent, I love the personal attention that EMS gives my daughter. The school is supportive of her interests and gives her the opportunity to explore extracurricular activities that she may not have considered, such as different musical instruments. The faculty is great at communicating with the parents and is especially child focused. They are preparing kids for the 21st century and to be good global citizens. We are so happy to be part of this warm community and our daughter loves EMS and skips into school every morning!
