We would like to give our deepest appreciation and thanks to the Hostess, Staff and Management at The Grand Rehabilitation at South Point in Island Park, NY for the exceptional care of my father Alfred Degioia who passed away on 01/27/23. We got to know the Hostess, staff and management who showed compassion and kindness and made it a pleasant experience during his 15 month stay. The staff consulted with us every step of the way providing him with warm, loving and gentle care. The Grand showed great concern during Covid and maintained sanitary conditions while hosting all patients and their visitors. The experience at the front desk was kind and courteous to me and my family while also securing the facility at all times. We were able to communicate with management, doctors, nurses, therapists and staff around the clock as needed. With their prompt and courteous service along with their pride in patient care and satisfaction, we highly recommend this facility for loved ones.
The Grand Rehabilitation in Island Park was a positive experience for my husband recovering from Covid. The staff from the social workers, physical therapists. CNA’S, Nurses and Cleaning staff all did the jobs professionally. They were caring and always had a smile. “Having my spouse & daughters making frequent visits was important to my recovery” says the patient!
A special shout out to Eric - a caring & excellent physical therapist.
We highly recommend this facility.
