TWA Hotel

We just came for the pool. A bit pricey - $50 per adult for 1.45 hours. You have to pay that just to be on the rooftop... whether you swim or not. But we agreed it was worth it. Such a unique experience and it let our 9 yr old get lots of energy spent before a long flight to Europe.
The hotel is so cool. Lots to see, lots of photo ops, lots of information about the history of TWA - and life in the fifties. Connie (airplane w/ cocktail lounge) doesn't open until 4. 🫤
The staff was all super friendly and helpful. I wish I'd taken names.

What a wonderfully unique stay in this former TWA terminal. Enjoyed reading the history of the terminal and the airline as well as the Constellation plane "Connie." So fun to see the display of flight attendant uniforms and the other displays detailing the history of the airline and the terminal. The architecture is incredible. Room was very comfortable and heard no noise from the airport. In the morning I took the elevator down to terminal 5 and it couldn't have been any easier. Enjoyed the cool vibe and 60s music throughout the property, even outside! And make sure you enjoy the airplane lounge in "Connie" outside and check out the rooftop pool as well! Highly Recommend!

Well, I love the design and detail of this place. So well done! I will say, for being a fairly new hotel, they need to keep the place up a little better. Some areas look like they have been that way since the 60s. The plush red carpet is cool but makes pushing suitcases a little hard. I wished there had been a coffee pot in my room, but Mr. Softy in the lobby almost makes up for it. I loved that I was able to go right from baggage claim into the hotel. The staff was super friendly. The bed was really comfortable. I was surprised at how quite the room was even with planes right outside the window. So many fun things to see including the original sketches of the terminal.

Staff were very good. Room was clean. It needs better lighting next to the bed and more electric outlets and better water pressure in the shower. Didn't hear a single airplane. The atmosphere of nostalgia was great. Sad to say the public areas are in desperate need of new carpet and upholstery. They are long past what a good cleaning could do. Loved the museum items, the Connie and above all the rooftop pool!

I was so pleased with my experience at TWA- while waiting on my layover, I decided to wonder around and stumbled across this beautiful hotel. This place is such a gem and I had the pleasure of meeting one of the workers who goes by the name of Donna. She was super sweet, kind and very attentive to all the guest needs. Not only does this place take you back in time to the 1960’s but it also has such a beautiful soul like Donna taking care of everyone in it. I will definitely be back just to visit her! Donna really made my experience extra special. Thank you for all that you do and for all that you are. 💖
