(June 14, 2023, 11:33 am)Good area to hike, but some of the trails were blocked off by branches and trees. My friends and I think I lost a couple of times because the color markings weren’t there for the trail

(June 10, 2023, 11:14 pm)A lovely day at the park with friends and lots of reasons to like this park. Permit suggested if you need to grill or want to reserve picnic tables. It is not first come, first serve like many think. There's ample space to set up a volleyball net, several grill stations and restroom facilities available. Parking lot as well as roadside parking available depending on which field lot you're looking for. All in all, it was clean and easy to reserve.

(April 5, 2023, 3:53 pm)This is a sizable park that has excellent upkeep. Beautiful places for family recreation, such as picnic areas with a fully-stocked BBQ grill. Tennis courts and volleyball grounds are available. But the lovely nature paths are my favorite. Excellent for hiking and getting in touch with wildlife. It's lovely and serene. You don't even remember you're in Queens.

(December 1, 2022, 8:32 am)This is such an incredible and beautiful park. From the dozen or so baseball fields that litter the park to its athletic track and all the new amenities added in recent years, this park is very interesting to walk through. Please pick up after yourself before leaving.
