I have known of Dr. Fastenberg's work through friends and family for decades, so when my ophthalmologist saw some issues with my retina, I didn't hesitate to reach out to him. He fixed two retinal tears, one in each eye, two years apart. He has a significant amount of confidence in his abilities, which puts me at ease. During the repair, he fills you in about his progress and comments on how well you are doing, which is comforting. I have recommended him and VitreoRetinal Consultants to quite a few people, and they are all happy.
Fantastic. Wait was almost nonexistent. Friendly staff. The two ladies that conducted the eye phots and dye were super and professional. Dr Fastenberg was very thorough and explained everything before and during the exam. Zero anxiety visit. Glad not to have to revisit but would be pleased if I had to return. Good feelings.
