Dr. Nauheim is an outstanding Opthalmologist. He strongly demonstrates his expertise and sincere care in providing what is best in the patient's interest and needs. He is thorough with his assessment and thoroughly educates the patient about treatment options in a very understandable way. He provides patient education and tools to assure the patient can easily follow any pre-op and post-op medication regimens, as well as care instructions for the best outcome. He is personable but very focused when he performs surgery. His staff are compassionate and very friendly. I am so very glad I I chose him to evaluate me and perform my surgery . I cannot give enough accolades for my experience with him and his staff.

Dr. Nauheim has been providing excellent eye care to me over many years. This past year, in particular, due to chronic facial nerve impairment, I've had numerous episodes of eye inflammation and infections. Dr. Nauheim has provided the highest level of diagnostic and medical care, sometimes on very short notice, which has been a life-saver (and eye-saver) for me. His top-notch office staff also has been wonderful overall.

As a patient who had never undergone surgery before, I was naturally quite anxious about the removal of cataracts that massive doses of steroids taken in an attempt to regain sudden hearing loss in my right ear had exacerbated. Although I had heard from others who recommended Dr. Nauheim that they had the surgery under local anesthesia, Dr. Nauheim assured me that he could perform the cataract surgery in both eyes under general anesthesia. His calm assurance, thoroughness, and patience in answering my many questions before and after each procedure has made me a patient for life.

As soon as I walked into the office I was greeted by friendly staff and was seen by Dr Nauheim right away, I immediately felt at ease. His “bedside manner” was both calming and compassionate. After a thorough exam in his clean and safe office, it turned out I required eye surgery which was perfectly performed a few weeks later. My vision is now near perfect and I will never need glasses again. Like his father before him, Dr Nauheim is one of the most highly rated Eye Doctors and Eye Surgeons and after receiving treatment from him and his amazing staff now I “see” why. “Look” no further. My experiences with Dr. Nauheim and staff over many years and with cataract surgery in both eyes the last month have proven him and staff highly competent, caring, informative, accessible and first rate every step of the way.
