(June 27, 2023, 10:28 pm)A beautiful park along the Sound in New Rochelle. Kayaking is available through LL Bean at the park. Rentals available. Beautiful areas to hike and walk along the water.

(June 18, 2023, 8:32 am)Five Islands Park is a picture perfect location. I rented the outdoor pavilion and had a wonderful time with my family. The staff members were polite, gracious, and helpful. It is a local hidden treasure.

(June 26, 2022, 2:37 pm)I’ve lived in Westchester for over thirty years but I only discover this lovely park this morning g when I participated in an LL bean kayaking class! There’s a lovely beach and if you own a kayak or paddle board you can use the beach to start your journey! They have parking available and it only costs $5 to park!

(January 16, 2022, 12:36 pm)This hidden gem is such a great find especially for a great winter walk Be sure to walk the neighborhood as there is lots to see including Salesian missions and the 100 year old Salesian high school. Great place to take wonderful winter pictures. Make you walk all of the trails to see the various views

(August 11, 2021, 7:06 pm)So this park charges $5 for parking BUT it is only for New Rochelle residents. My family and I came from NYC and we simply parked in the street and then walked in for free. So glad we did because this park is lovely! There’s bridges connecting the islands, and a small little ramp/dock thing where you can actually sit and touch the water! It can get very windy though- just a heads up!
