(February 18, 2021, 8:35 pm)This memorial at the Beach side of Beach 116 Street in Rockaway Park was built for the families of Flight 587 that lost their lives. Very nice ! It's a beautiful place. Having the beach in the background gives it a calm appearance.

(September 26, 2020, 6:45 am)They rebuilt the board walk beautifully and have restrooms too. Needs more restaurants again. Hopefully some day. Good deli nearby. Life guards on duty. Very clean.

(August 12, 2019, 1:33 am)Access broad walk thru this way and walk along east pass the facility ,guard house,public restroom,nice and clean upgraded after wipeout but hurricane Sandy very impressed beach clean, activate lifeguard,and park ranger all serious on their duty,memorial Park also look neat ind not disappointed, wheelchairs can access thru beach turf,beach users may noisy in this area because crowded and popular sofar very Happy visiting this well kept good to go t for quiet & peace at the beach
